The XR-3 ION does have a slight delay before firing and lower mobility statistics, which can make it difficult to use at first. Once players get used to its quirks, you can take advantage of the serious damage to rack up sniper kills. Whether you're completing the easiest weapon challenges in the game or crafting a class to dominate in pubs, this sniper rifle is the one to go with.

Caiman: With a suppressor attachment equipped, get 100 Eliminations with the VS Recon
Network: Eliminate 100 Fear enemies

Molten Gold: Eliminate 20 Special enemies
Moonstone: 100 Zone III or Zone IV enemies in the Endgame
Chroma Flux: Eliminate 10 Elite enemies in Endgame
Genesis: Get Chroma Flux on 30 weapons

Multiplayer

Military Camos: 80 One-Shot Kills
Diamondback: Get 15 Long Shot Medals
Raptor: Get 50 Eliminations without any attachments equipped
Mainframe: Get 2 kills without reloading 10 times

Shattered Gold: Get 3 Kills without dying 10 times
Arclight: Get 10 Double Kills or better
Tempest: 5 kills without dying 3 times
Singularity: Get Tempest on 30 weapons

Zombies

Military Camos: 1,000 Critical Kills (Headshots)
Mutilate: Get 2 Critical Kills with a single shot 15 times
Slither: Get 75 Armored Zombie Eliminations
Pathfinder: Get 10 Kills without taking damage 5 times

Golden Dragon: Get 10 Kills rapidly 15 times
Bloodstone: Get 20 or more consecutive kills without taking damage 5 times
Doomsteel: Get 10 Elite Zombie Kills
