The Minnesota Rokkr are closing in on Paul "Mamba" Solano to round out their starting lineup for the Black Ops 7 season. The move comes after the team’s initial target, former BP Rookie of the Year Runner-Up Isaiah "Gwinn" Gwinn, opted to join the Vancouver Surge, forcing Rokkr to pivot in search of a new Flex player to complement the trio of Kyle "Kremp" Haworth, Justice "Estreal" McMillan, and Cesar "Skyz" Bueno.

Mamba’s name quickly rose to the top of their list after his breakout performance at the Esports World Cup, where he helped OMiT eliminate Atlanta FaZe. This shocking upset ultimately contributed to the breakup of one of Call of Duty’s most dominant cores. His aggressive playstyle and clutch instincts have made him one of the most sought-after young talents in the scene.

Amid roster uncertainty, Skyz, Minnesota’s target for a veteran AR, also drew interest from Vancouver. However, sources indicate he intends to stay the course and will officially re-sign with Rokkr for the upcoming season. With Skyz anchoring the lineup and Mamba expected to slot in as the final piece, Minnesota looks to have a solid foundation heading into Black Ops 7.

Head coach Daniel "Loony" Loza will remain at the helm for another season, tasked with turning this promising roster into a true contender. After an up-and-down year, the franchise hopes this iteration can finally deliver the consistency and results that have long eluded them.
