The Vancouver Surge are reportedly in advanced talks to add Isaiah "Gwinn" Gwinn and Halo star Kaci "Lqgend" Sabri to their starting lineup for the upcoming Black Ops 7 season. The move would mark a major crossover moment for the CDL, as Lqgend currently competes with OpTic Gaming Halo with the Call of Duty All-Time great Matthew "FormaL" Piper, who are in action this weekend at HCS Charlotte.

With the Halo season set to conclude at the Halo World Championship on October 26, the timeline gives Lqgend ample opportunity to transition into Call of Duty before the launch of Black Ops 7.
Gwinn, meanwhile, is weighing multiple options but is believed to be leaning toward Vancouver in order to team with Lqgend. Though he has an offer from Cloud9 New York, sources indicate his preference is to link up with the Halo pro, forming what could be one of the most intriguing duos of the new season. If completed, these signings would signal the Surge’s intent to take risks and build a roster that blends proven CDL talent with fresh, high-upside crossover talent.
