The Carolina Royal Ravens are the last team to finalize their roster for the upcoming season. This isn't entirely surprising, given the offseason rumors about Spacestation Gaming potentially taking over the spot. Discussions had progressed to the point where SSG felt confident that a deal could be completed; however, that has not yet happened. As a result, Carolina's management has had to make moves in the market.

The team is keeping faith in Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat and Brian Saintt after a background error from management caused the pair to miss the Esports World Cup. They have now been given a chance for redemption in the upcoming season.

The first order of business has been to target an SMG player, which has led them to one of the most exciting talents remaining on the market: Jay "Craze" Mallhi. He is the last player from the OMiT team that shocked the world at the Esports World Cup. Many are surprised he has fallen this low down the pecking order, but he is a player who can instill confidence in Ravens fans that they can still have a promising season.
