How to Level Up & Prestige faster in Black Ops 7
Master Prestige returns in Black Ops 7, giving grinders a true long-term progression path in Multiplayer. For the first time since the old-school system was retired, players will once again level to 55 before prestiging and climbing toward the coveted Master Prestige rank. With 20 mastery camos, new modes, and a deeper challenge system, there’s more XP to earn than ever, and more ways to optimize the grind.
While reaching Master Prestige is a marathon, there are plenty of smart strategies that can dramatically speed up the journey. With these essential XP-boosting tips, you’ll be flying through levels and knocking out prestiges in no time.
1) Play Objective-Based Modes
Choosing the right modes is one of the fastest ways to maximize XP. Objective modes reward you for kills and objective interactions, meaning every life generates more experience. Spawns are predictable, the pace is faster, and players naturally cluster around hill, bomb, or zone objectives, making it easier to chain kills and stack XP quickly.
2) Complete Challenges
Black Ops 7 features an expanded challenge system across weapons, equipment, operators, and gameplay categories. Many challenges progress naturally just by switching weapons or experimenting with different loadouts, while also playing Campaign, Warzone, Multiplayer, & Zombies. You’ll be earning huge chunks of bonus XP without even focusing on specific tasks.
3) Grind Mastery Badges
Mastery Badges return with new categories in BO7, giving players an additional progression path alongside camos. You earn badge progress simply by using different weapon types and completing multi-step milestones. It’s passive XP that stacks fast as long as you rotate through your arsenal.

Weapon camo challenges in Black Ops 7 are once again streamlined, with no weapon level requirements on base camo challenges. 5) Use Scorestreaks as quickly as you can

6) Equip the Right Perks
Certain perks provide massive XP efficiency boosts. Two standouts for the prestige grind are:
Looper: Gain the ability to re-earn scorestreaks in the same life.
Bankroll: Start each life with +150 score toward scorestreaks
Together, these perks keep your streaks rolling, which keeps your XP flowing.
7) Don’t Forget Your Tacticals
Players often underestimate just how much XP comes from consistent tactical and lethal usage. Frequent throws mean more assists and easier kills. If you run Tac Expert or Danger Close, you’ll spawn with extra equipment to put even more pressure on opponents, and earn even more XP in the process.
