As the Call of Duty League heads to sunny Boca Raton for Major 3, the competition is heating up, and the stakes are higher than ever. With two Majors behind us, the teams are starting to battle for their Champs lives—some climbing the ranks with momentum, while others search for answers going into the do-or-die next stage. From rising dark horses to dominant front-runners, the CDL landscape has shifted yet again. Here’s how all 12 teams stack up in our Power Rankings going into Major 3.
How the teams are ranked: The writers, stats team, and content team at Breaking Point were polled to rate each of the 12 teams — putting more weight on recency instead of the entire season. Since there have only been two weeks of play, the team was assigned to rank the teams going into the Minor. Each ranks the teams 1st through 12th. After collecting the rankings from the BP team, each team would be given points for each vote, as seen below:
1st – 12 points
2nd – 11 points
3rd – 10 points
4th – 9 points
5th – 8 points
6th – 7 points
7th – 6 points
8th – 5 points
9th – 4 points
10th – 3 points
11th – 2 point
12th – 1 points

Roster: aBeZy - Cellium - Drazah - Simp
Previous Ranking: 2nd (Unchanged)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 3:00 pm EST vs Vancouver Surge
Game mode Form: There are some red flags in both Hardpoint & SND, but the team continues to be dominant in Control across Stage III. Just in Hardpoint during this stage, FaZe ranks 11th in Avg margin (-42.2), 10th in points per hold opportunity (25.2), and 12th in Break percentage (19.5%). They are 10th in opening duel win rage (42.6%) but 2nd in attacking and 3rd in defending. Let's see if the LAN bump comes in like usual.
2nd: Los Angeles Thieves
Voting: 11.3 Avg Points, A Tier
25-8 Record (76%), 89-40 Map Count (69%), 310 CDL points (2nd Seed)
Roster: Envoy - Ghosty - HyDra - Scrap
Previous Ranking: 2nd (Unchanged)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 1:30 pm EST vs Carolina Royal Ravens
Game mode Form: LA has been the clear-cut best team online this season, and the third qualifier was no different. They were the best team in more than 11 key stat categories across all three modes. Those include Avg margin in HP (+37.2), points per minute in HP (23.3), Round Win percentage in SND (64.2%), conversion percentage in SND (83.9%), Post-Plant Win percentage (88.2%), ticks per attack in CTL (4.7) and ticks allowed per defense in CTL (2.0). Pure domination.

3rd: Toronto Ultra
Voting: 10.0 Avg Points, B+ Tier
21-10 Record (68%), 69-50 Map Count (58%), 250 CDL points (3rd Seed)
Roster: Beans - CleanX - Insight - JoeDeceives
Previous Ranking: 4th (Up 1 Spot)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 4:30 pm EST vs Miami Heretics
Game mode Form: Toronto are one of the harder teams to judge in each of the game modes. They have the best Hardpoint Win percentage this Stage at 77.8%, but are the worst holding team at 51.2%. They are breaking 52.6% of the time, which seems unsustainable long-term. In Control, they went 2-3 and allowed 3.9 ticks per defense (10th), but were a good attacking team. If they are able to keep up in certain areas in each mode, then they could become a true championship contender.
4th: Vancouver Surge
Voting: 9.0 Avg Points, B Tier
19-12 Record (61%), 70-60 Map Count (54%), 225 CDL points (4th Seed)
Roster: O4 - abuzah - Nastie - Neptune
Previous Ranking: 3rd (Down 1 Spot)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 3:00 pm EST vs Atlanta FaZe
Game mode Form: While they rank 4th in the power ranking, Vancouver is a great team in each of the modes so far in Stage III. While their hardpoint win percentage was just 57.1%, they had a solid hold percentage (71.4%) and had the 2nd best break percentage (48.3%). They've become a top 3 SND team this stage, winning 59% of their opening duels, which has helped power the team to a 71% win rate on defense. They are a scary team that matches up well against both of the top 2 teams.
5th: Miami Heretics
Voting: 7.7 Avg Points, B- Tier
11-16 Record (41%), 52-60 Map Count (46%), 140 CDL points (7th Seed)
Roster: SupeR - MettalZ - ReeaL - RenKoR
Previous Ranking: 9th (Up 4 Spots)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 4:30 pm EST vs Toronto Ultra
Game mode Form: While Control continues to be a hit-or-miss mode for the Heretics, Hardpoint & SND have turned into a solid, consistent mode for the team. While the team is just 5-5 in Hardpoint, they are 2nd in rotating (56.3%), 3rd in points per hold opportunity (29.9), and have an average margin of +18.7. SND has been fantastic, sitting at 6-0 in the stage. They are doing it solely around defense as well, going 23-9 in defensive rounds to have the CDL-best 71.9% win rate. Retaking has been their major strength, successfully retaking 70.6% of bomb plants, leading the CDL in that category.

6th: Boston Breach
Voting: 7.0 Avg Points, C+ Tier
13-13 Record (50%), 53-56 Map Count (44%), 150 CDL points (6th Seed)
Roster: Cammy - Owakening - Purj - Snoopy
Previous Ranking: 7th (Up 1 Spot)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 6:00 pm EST vs OpTic Texas
Game mode Form: Boston is back and better than ever! The team holds a winning record in all three modes for the first time this season, led by a 5-0 record in Control. It's the fundamentals that are key with this team. They lead the League in Stage III in rotating in Hardpoint (59.1%), second in post-plant win percentage in SND (73.3%), and undefeated in defending rounds in Control (8-0). While there are areas they need to continue to improve on, like allowing plants in 67.6% of SND defending rounds (12th in CDL), they have a solid base to make a good run at Major III.
Voting: 5.7 Avg Points, C Tier
19-13 Record (59%), 67-57 Map Count (54%), 210 CDL points (5th Seed)
Roster: Gwinn - SlasheR - TJHaly - Wrecks
Previous Ranking: 5th (Down 2 Spots)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 1:30 pm EST vs LA Thieves
Game mode Form: There are some red flags starting to creep up on the Royal Ravens in Stage III, which was the catalyst for the roster change they made. The squad barely has a winning record in both Hardpoint (5-4) and SND (4-3), but has become unwatchable in Control. They are 0-5 in Control, winning just 3 rounds in the swing game mode over the entire stage. Let's just list the bad statistics:
○ 16.7% Round Win Percentage (12th)
○ 0-9 in Attacking Rounds (12th)
○ -7.7 average life margin on attacking rounds (12th)
○ -3.4 average life margin on defending rounds (12th)
○ Allowing 5.0 ticks per defense (12th)
○ Capping 2.9 ticks per attack (10th)
Tough scenes for Carolina, but maybe they can click with the new team on LAN.
8th: OpTic Texas
Voting: 5.7 Avg Points, C Tier
14-15 Record (48%), 52-60 Map Count (46%), 130 CDL points (6th Seed)
Roster: Dashy - Skyz - Huke - Shotzzy
Previous Ranking: 8th (Unchanged)
Next Match: Thursday, April 24th at 6:00 pm EST vs Boston Breach
Game mode Form: The OpTic Texas team continues to underwhelm in the Black Ops 6 season, but has shown some signs of life this stage. Starting with Harpdoint, while they are 4-5 overall on the stage, they are 1-4 in their last 5 maps. The holding is great (76.9%, 3rd best), but they are inconsistent at rotating (48.8%), which has cost them. In SND, the team leads the League with a 61.3% opening duel win rate, but converts in just 57.9% of rounds (10th). The bones of a good team are there, but the lack of fundamentals has given teams chances to get back into games they never should. Let's see if they can put it together in Boca Raton!

9th: Minnesota RØKKR
Voting: 3.7 Avg Points, D+ Tier
10-18 Record (36%), 52-67 Map Count (44%), 100 CDL points (10th Seed)
Roster: Estreal - Gio - Nero - Kenny
Previous Ranking: 10th (Up 1 Spot)
Next Match: Friday, April 25th at 6:00 pm EST vs the Loser of LAT/CAR
Game mode Form: The best way to describe the Rokkr are so close yet so far. They played well in both Hardpoint & SND to start the stage, but are now 1-4 in the last 5 maps in both modes, sliding into a clear slump. First, looking at SND, Minnesota ranks 12th in multiple KEY stats, including opening duel win rate (35.6%), attacking win rate (32.6%), post-plant win rate (46.7%), and round percentage with bomb plants (34.9%). A lot of the issues stem from map pool issues, which can be seen most in Hardpoint. They are 4-2 in Red Card & Skyline, but 0-4 in Hacienda & Protocol, while just not playing Vault at all.
10th: Vegas Falcons
Voting: 3.3 Avg Points, D Tier
1-22 Record (4%), 17-67 Map Count (20%), 10 CDL points (12th Seed)
Roster: Arcitys - Exnid - Pred - Priestahh
Previous Ranking: 12th (Up 2 Spots)
Next Match: Friday, April 25th at 3:00 pm EST vs the Loser of BOS/TX
Game mode Form: The Vegas Falcons were a historically bad Call of Duty team for the majority of the season, which means their new squad has very little pressure. The concerns lie with the 1-6 SND (11th) record and 1-4 Control (10th), which gives them a hard ceiling of 10th in the power rankings. What they are special at is Hardpoint. The new-look team is 6-3 in the mode (2nd best record), including a CDL best 4-1 record in map 1s. The squad doesn't rotate well, ranking 12th in rotation win rate at 40.3%, but is top 5 in both holding (74.2%) and breaking (32.6%).
11th: Cloud9 New York
Voting: 2.0 Avg Points, D- Tier
10-18 Record (36%), 48-61 Map Count (44%), 105 CDL points (9th Seed)
Roster: Attach - Kremp - Mack - Sib
Previous Ranking: 6th (Down 5 Spots)
Next Match: Friday, April 25th at 1:30 pm EST vs the Loser of VAN/ATL
Game mode Form: What has happened to New York? The team showed signs of life in Stage II, only to completely fall off the tracks during this stage. They rank 11th in Hardpoint with a 2-5 record and have the worst average margin of -53.0 points per map. They are 10th in holding (55.6%) and 10th in breaking (24.3%), but have an insane 42.2% rotation win rate (11th), meaning they do very little correctly. Then in SND, the team ranks 11th as well with a 1-6 record and league-low 38.5% round win rate. Trouble in New York.

12th: Los Angeles Guerrillas M8
Voting: 1.0 Avg Points, F Tier
4-20 Record (17%), 31-62 Map Count (33%), 30 CDL points (11th Seed)
Roster: KiSMET - FeLo - oJohnny - Lunarz
Previous Ranking: 11th (Down 1 Spot)
Next Match: Friday, April 25th at 4:30 pm EST vs the Loser of MIA/TOR
Game mode Form: With Vegas improving, LA has finally reached the floor. They have the worst Hardpoint record in Stage III at 1-7, and it wasn't much better in either SND (1-4) or Control (1-4). They're Hardpoint has no remarkable qualities currently, ranking 11th in holding (54.3%) and 8th in breaking (25.7%). The fundamentals are gone everywhere, as you could point to just a 54.2% conversion percentage in SND (12th) or 2.8 ticks per attack in Control (12th).
